One of the reasons why you are going to love the Pilates reformer is because it does not require any assembly at all. It comes fully assembled, so all you have to do is unbox it, set it up where you want it to go, and get to it. It does not get any easier than this.
What I Like
First of all, one of the things that we like is that it provides you the user with a whole lot of variable resistance. It comes with four resistance cords, combined with three incline levels, for a total of 48 different levels of resistance.
Secondly, it’s small and compact. Ok, so it is not tiny and it is not a featherweight either, but when compared to most other Pilates reformers out there, it certainly looks that way. The size is a prominent feature for anyone who doesn’t have too much room to spare.
Third, it is exceptionally functional and easy to use. First off, the pulleys which hold the straps actually pivot back and forth. This means that you can quickly change from one exercise to the other without having to make any adjustments. Thus, its high level of functionality makes doing exercises and switching between them a breeze.
Fourth, the Pilates Power Gym Pro Mini Reformer is extremely comfortable to use, plus quite versatile too. The Mini Reformer also comes with an adjustable headrest, which is well padded and can go up higher or down lower depending on your size and preferences.
Also, the glide board itself features a decent amount of padding too, thus making sure that your butt and back don’t start hurting mid-use.
Last but not least, the Pilates Power Gym Pro Mini Reformer is well built. This bad boy has a full 300-pound user weight capacity, which is extremely impressive for such a small and compact Pilates reformer.
What I Don’t Like
There are a couple of minor issues that we have with the Pilates Power Gym Pro Mini Reformer, so let’s go over them real quick.
While we do like the smaller size of the Pilates Power Gym Pro Mini Reformer, it can make it difficult for larger people to use it.
Some people have mentioned how the Pilates Power Gym Pro Mini Reformer is a little close to the ground, which somewhat limits the number of different exercises.
