Nutritious Breakfast Ideas #2 Oatmeal with fruit and seeds

Another great way to start the morning is with gluten-free oats topped with chia seeds, walnuts, shredded coconut, a few berries and a touch of honey or maple syrup for added sweetness. When it comes to breakfast, I always include foods that are filled with healthy fats to help keep me satisfied and prevent my blood sugar from spiking and then crashing. On occasion, I’ll also have a small green juice to boost my daily intake of veggies throughout the day!

yogurt with chia seeds and berries

Nutritious Breakfast Ideas #4 Greek yogurt with chia seeds and blueberries

Chia seeds aren’t just a pet, they’re a party in your mouth. Oh, what a party they are. I’m a huge fan of them because they’re chock-full of heart-healthy omega-3s, fiber, protein, and calcium. Since Chia seeds are quickly absorbed by the body, they are very nourishing and satiating. I add them to my breakfast smoothie or pair them with Greek yogurt or cottage cheese along with some blueberries.
