Healthy Drinks #1: Flush Cleanse & Detox Water

Ingredients

1/2 gallon water

6 wedges pink grapefruit

1 tangerine, mandarin, or small orange, sliced

½ cucumber, sliced

2 peppermint or mint leaves

Ice

Directions

Rinse grapefruit, tangerine, cucumber and mint leaves. Slice cucumber, grapefruit, and tangerine (or peel). Combine all ingredients in a half gallon pitcher. Allow the ingredients to sit for 2 hours for maximum benefits. Drink throughout the day.

Healthy Drinks #2: Lemon Mint Cucumber Water

Ingredients

12 cups of water (3 quarts)

2 to 3 lemons, thinly sliced (you can also substitute limes)

1 small cucumber or 1/2 of a medium to large cucumber, preferably organic, thinly sliced

10 to 15 mint leaves. preferably organic

Directions

Rinse lemons and cucumbers very well before slicing; slice thinly. Add lemons, cucumber, and mint to pitcher. Cover with water and refrigerate at least 4 hours or overnight (the flavor will be stronger if you refrigerate overnight). Pour into a large glass over some ice…it’s very refreshing! This water tastes best the day or day after you make it.

 

 

Healthy Drinks #3: APPLE SPICE DETOX WATER

INGREDIENTS

12 oz. Water

1 Apple, thinly sliced

2 sticks Cinnamon

3 Star Anise

INSTRUCTIONS

Combine all ingredients in a mason jar and chill overnight or at least for a few hours.

Can refill 3-4 times before replacing apples and spices.

  1. The first drink looks delish, I would like to try it, however, I can’t take cucumber cause it makes feel upset my stomach. Is there anything else that I could use instead?

  8. Is it ok to use sparkling water sometimes? I have been trying to stop drinking soda and sparkling water kinda helps. But to be honest I don’t really know if it is bad for me. I want to try the Apple spice Detox Water, as I very much enjoy the taste of both apple and cinnamon.

      1. Hi Robert! Tried the Apple spice detox water both ways (with water and with sparkling water). Both were great! But to me, the sparkling water gave me this refreshing sensation… so wonderful! Last night I prepared the Lemon mint cucumber water. I had it overnight on the fridge as you suggested. And I simply loved it! Thank you for these wonderful recipes! They are certainly going to add to my goal of drinking more water and healthier drinks!
