Hello everyone, my name is Robert and I’m the author of this health and wellness blog. I am a mature and hardworking individual, who strives to achieve the highest standard possible, at any given task. I retired about 4 years ago.  Before I retired, I suffered a back injury which required surgery.  It helped some, but my back has been a source of pain for me.  I also was diagnosed with Peripheral Neuropathy and had four surgeries on my right and left knees.  I was never the same again. It became too physically demanding for me to work so I retired earlier than I thought I would.

During this period I gained a lot of weight, and it began to affect how I felt overall. I became moderately depressed and I started to feel sorry for myself.  Since my back and knee injuries, the physical exercise began to be impossible.  Finally, I decided to do something about it.  Exercise and diet alone weren’t going to work for me.  I began researching everything I could find out about living a healthy lifestyle.  I enjoy learning new things and it turned my whole life around.

Healthy Eating and Lifestyle Tips was born

I created this website to help people like yourself learn how to live a healthy lifestyle.  I possess excellent communication skills, and I have the ability and experience to relate to a wide range of individuals.  To do this, I will share my personal experiences with you and what I have discovered over the past few years. I’ll be your source for information about living a healthy lifestyle. On a weekly basis, I’ll be sharing useful tips to help you live the healthy lifestyle that you deserve to have.

It all began when I

My journey started when I stopped eating processed foods, anything with chemicals, preservatives or artificial sweeteners, and increased my water intake dramatically and the weight just started to fall off.  I also started drinking green smoothies (some people call them detox smoothies).  I began drinking them almost every day for a few years and they’re one of my favorite and easy ways to lose weight quickly. These smoothies are a deliciously easy way to get all your nutrients and they are just the tip of the iceberg. The possibilities are endless and you’ll never feel any better.
